Moodle provides a number of different options for filtering through courses and user data. Some of these reports include editing options for due dates, or activity completion, while others are purely informational.
This article provides an overview of any reports available in a Moodle course.
Using Reports in Moodle
To access reports in Moodle, in the course menu at the top of the main Moodle course page, select the Reports tab.
The available reports in a course are:
- Course completion
- Dates
- This report provides a list of all dates attached to activities, such as due dates, open/close dates, expect completed on dates, and enables editing of all dates.
- See the "Bulk Changing Due Dates in Moodle" article for more information on using this report.
- Text and media area
- This report provides a list of each text and media area, with its content and name, and whether they're visible in the course index.
- Logs
- Live logs
- This report is the same as the Logs report, but provides live updates for all actions taken in the last hour.
- Activity report
- This report provides a list of all activities in the Moodle course, as well as when they were last accessed, and how many times they were viewed.
- See Moodle's "Activity report" documentation for more details.
- Course participation
- Activity completion
- Accessibility outline report
- Event monitoring rules
- File Conversions
Each of the reports has different functionality and handles a different event in the space. For additional reporting capabilities, see the "Overview of IntelliBoard" article.
