In an effort to be more “green,” including lowering support costs, ClassTech has moved to a rechargeable battery solution for classrooms. Each classroom with a microphone will also have a recharge station located in the same drawer that the microphone is kept in (located under the lectern computer). Simply swap the microphone batteries with those in the charger, taking note of which direction the batteries are inserted in the charger.

To change the batteries on a lapel/headset microphone, locate the two soft buttons on either side of the lower compartment, and press them both at the same time.  The compartment will unlock, and the batteries will be revealed.

 

To change the batteries on a handheld microphone, unscrew the bottom of the handle from the unit, and the battery compartment will be revealed.
